I'm delighted to be working on an interesting Senior HR Manager maternity cover contract with a leading global professional services firm. Based in central London, the firm offers tax, audit and assurance and a range of advisory services to a truly international client base.
The role as Senior HR Manager is responsible for delivering a proactive, commercial HR offering and working closely with the senior leaders to define and implement the People Plan for specific product/service lines.
You will own your practice group but expected to build relationships across a number of different areas and provide a full range of generalist HR duties at a senior level. This particular role contains a substantial amount of project work over the next year so this person will need to be prepared to roll their sleeves up and lead on new initiatives as well as managing a HRBP role. This includes liaising with specialist teams to oversee complex ER issues, manage and coach partners where necessary to drive effective performance management and ensure all recruitment activity is delivered in a timely and organised manner.
This is a high level role where you will need to build consistency around existing processes and take ownership of delivering the HR strategy as well as being supportive and pragmatic in executing initiatives.
You must have previous experience of working in professional services (partnership) to be considered for this role and comfortable operating in a high level generalist capacity. Experience of leading on firm-wide projects is also required. Developing relationships with senior stakeholders is key so you must be able to influence and communicate effectively to drive change and new ways of working.
