We're working with a top-tier global management consulting firm in their effort to hire a Resource/Staffing Manager to handle all aspects of client project staffing for part of the population in the Financial Services Practice based in New York. This role will report to a Senior Talent Management Lead and will support a population of early career consultants at the firm. This role entails balancing the needs of clients against the availability of staff to work on projects keeping an eye towards their professional developmental wants and needs in order to advance their consulting careers.
This individual must be comfortable coaching and counseling consultants, handling employee relations issues in partnership with the HR team, and working closely with the Training team to elevate their ability to service clients while continuing to grow. The ability to balance the sometimes conflicting needs of clients, Partners, and Consultants with diplomacy is vital for success in this role. Our client is seeking candidates with 3+ year of prior resource/staffing management experience in a professional services setting (management consulting, tax, audit & accounting, legal, or advertising).
This is a hybrid role in which employees are trusted to work onsite and offsite as required by their direct manager. Employees must be vaccinated (not boosted) and able to provide proof thereof.
