I am working with an out-of-home advertising firm who is looking for a NYC or Nashville based People Manager. This established UK based organization launched US operations just a few years ago and is experiencing high growth. The People Manager will be working closely with the NYC based CEO and COO, with dotted line reporting UK based People Director.
This role will best align with an HR generalist with 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, and depth of experience across all aspects of HR. They are most interested in someone who will be able to take the UK practices and align them with the US market. With the US operations being somewhat new, someone with startup or small company experience would work well. This is a stand-alone role, with support from the UK based People Director. With the rapid growth in the US, Talent Acquisition will be high on the agenda. Being comfortable and confident in Leadership Team meetings will help ensure your success. Learning & Development experience is vital as they expect the People Manager to help with building out L&D for the US business by replicating pieces from UK practices. There will be a lot of autonomy in the role to add your own ideas for additional cultural events, DEI strategy, HR policies and practices, etc.
