Are you a hands on Payroll Manager from the retail, hospitality or manufacturing sector? Do you have large team management experience in a high volume payroll environment? I am representing a leading retail brand to source a Payroll Manager on a permanent basis.
Required experience includes:
- Substantial experience of managing multi-frequency UK payrolls
- Large team management expereince
- Strong understanding and experience of payroll processes and all linked systems
- Experience of managing and partnering with third party providers
- Excellent working knowledge of PAYE, income tax, national insurance, student loans, apprenticeship levy and statutory payments (NMW/NLW, SMP, SPP, SSP etc)
- Strong working knowledge of pensions auto-enrolment legislation
- Experience of developing and implementing policy, process and system upgrades
- Experience of implementing, reviewing and managing SLA's/KPI's
- Able to train, mentor and develop junior members of the team
