Rare opportunity - Part-time 3 days per week (with some flex) hybrid working, 1 day in the office, City based

I am exclusively partnering with a privately-owned market leader, pensions advisory and investment specialist with a leading-edge sustainability offering. The business is values driven and at its core is a business with purpose having gone through a growth journey over the last 3 years from 300 to c500 FTE. As such they have recognised the need to continue strengthening capability and expertise and are now looking to hire a Learning & Development Manager into a newly created role.

Reporting into the Group HRD, the focus of the role is to drive all things 'development' and embed into the business. Whilst an LMS platform was launched during lockdown, a big agenda awaits! You will need to take a strategic view of the Group landscape to translate into a development agenda but should also be prepared to roll up your sleeves to deliver workshops.

This is an exciting time to join the business and carve out a role to add measurable value not only at a Group level but also in conjunction with HRBPs at a bespoke level aligned to client groups. You will be expected to create career pathways, deliver soft skill workshops from team development, change management and so on. The role remit will also include D&I, Programme Development for a newly created Graduate Scheme, mobility as well as vendor management in relation to agreed technical needs delivery.

To be successful, you will have worked in a similar role with depth of expertise in being accountable and running as a standalone but supported by the Group HRD. Financial services industry sector, ideally advisory and investments across UK and Europe. You will be able to think big picture but be pragmatic and hands on, bring credibility to build relationships quickly and influence C-Suite for development outcomes. As the softer skill training will be run in house you must have and be comfortable with workshop design and delivery. That said, my client isn't look for the tried and tested delivery methodology. They want someone digitally savvy, and future focussed who can align delivery to the new ways of working understanding not one-way fits all. You Must be a team player as the team are highly collaborative, work across strategy to operational and all towards the same vision.

If you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and want to be in a position where you have the scope to create and deliver on a future focussed, fit for purpose employee Learning & Development experience, please apply.
