We're engaged on an exciting senior-level opportunity for a skilled and passionate Director of Learning and Development on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule - half remote and half in the office. (Basic relocation offered for out of state candididates).

The Role:

As Director Learning and Development you will report in to a Senior global leader who oversees three talent function pillars, therefore enhancing connectivity, shared goals, and collaboration between groups. You'll manage at least 5 experienced team members, and develop and enhance the overal global strategy across all training (technical and otherwise), Leadership Development and Global Talent Programs to enables the business to achieve commercial goals while continually growing, training and empowering employees at all levels of seniority and skill areas, firmwide. This position will also own parts of hte onboarding process and serve in a truly influential capacity conceiving, designing and deploying L&D Proframs and strategies across the globe. o

The successful candidate will be a people-savvy influencer who is data-driven - able to identify gaps, design, and execute from the available data after building a business case.

You'll serve as a key thought leader, sharing best practices and crucial technologies to sustain process and measurability.

You'll also be closely partnered with the people team on deployments and responding in real time to Development and Training needs while creating global programs that engage employees and ensure present and future leaders are being identified, supported, and developed. With a robust talent team working shoulder to shoulder with you, you will have all the tools needed to make immediate gains for this client.

Suited candidates will have experienced very a global, technology-driven organizations with corporate and tech / engineering / manufacturing workforces. They will have had a measurable impact on Learning and Development either for a large tech-driven business or org wide and on a global basis. Strong Instructional design and global implementation experience will predict success, as will the ability to influence at the senior level, getting buy in and identifying key partners through strong relationship skills.
