Industrial Relations Manager, mostly home based with occasional London presence, £85,000 - £100,000 + benefits

This is a new and exciting role to work for a global business in the IT and Tech space who are focused on growth and development.

As part of this new team who focus on mergers and acquisitions, there is always something that will need to be done, this will be a fast paced role with many plates to spin. You will be responsible for all Industrial Relations and forming relationships with Trade Unions for new acquisitions to the business

Duties

  • Responsible for all industrial relations, and as part of this division that is focused on Mergers and Acquisitions of new businesses, your role will be to forge strong relationships with Trade Unions and and work with colleagues across the business
  • Provide specialist advice on employment law and practices as well as consultations
  • Ensure consistency across the wider group / business
  • Coach and support senior leaders on good ER / IR practices and enable them to develop skills in this area to be able to maintain strong relationships
  • Negotiate and resolve complex problems
  • Project manage where appropriate the delivery of activity when needed

Skills and experience

  • Strong Industrial Relations experience and a strong relationship builder
  • Experience of implementing change programmes in a Unionised environment
  • Able to work to the strategic goals of the business, coaching, advising and supporting Senior Leaders
  • Experience within a fast moving business/sector previously
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions and TUPE in and out
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and able to work in an ever changing and growing business
