Our client, a privately held, VC-backed ad tech company of 350 employees, is looking to hire an HR Director who will be based in their Midtown headquarters. The company has late stage funding. This role will report into the Head of HR and manage a team of two, with the opportunity to grow the team to three in size. The team will own all aspects of the business partnering relationship for all employees at the company across multiple offices. There is currently an HR Manager and an HR Coordinator reporting into this individual, but the third role which will be more operational in focus, will be left up to the Director's discretion to define.
Our client has been in existence for over a decade and while HR processes and policies are well-established, recent M&A activity within the business and continued organic growth require the HR team to continually review and improve existing processes, as well as create new solutions for business matters which arise as both the company and the market evolves. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, prior team management, a mix of HR experience in established organizations as well as start-up organizations, and a flexible approach to solving problems. They must be an influential relationship manager. Breadth of exposure across HR is vital with depth of experience (both strategic and hands-on) in employee relations, performance and talent management, compensation planning and HR operations.
