Our client is an International Legal firm with a base in Singapore. They have [exclusively] engaged our services for a HR Manager contract role to cover a maternity cover and have oversight of their Singapore portfolio. You will have two junior direct reports to manage onsite to ensure operational excellence, who you will nurture and develop.

Accountability for a progressive HR agenda and stakeholder relations at Partner level. An opportunity to liaise with global and APAC counterparts on HR projects. Project work includes; diversity and inclusion, engagement, talent, performance.

This is the most senior position within Singapore, and will need to be autonomous and have accountability for the people aspects. Stakeholder management, relationship building and flexibility for the business will be a key competency for the role as new initiatives need to have strong business buy-in. Your role will be to 'future proof' the business.

This is a personable business that is people driven not policy/process led.

Strategic Oversight; You will play a lead role in the development and implementation of commercial HR solutions (in line with the firm's parameters and local market) to support the firm's strategy for Singapore and APAC. This will include establishing strong operational excellence, being a change leader, handling and resolving employee relations issues, supporting talent management processes, operational efficiency and HR expertise.

Background: Experience in forging strong relationship at all levels and working in a law firm/professional services/financial services/banking/accounting environment is strongly desirable.
