We're working with a high growth private equity firm in their efforts to hire an HR Generalist. The firm has 150 employees across 6 US offices. This role will report to a VP of Human Resources and work alongside an HR Assistant. In addition to this newly created role, the VP also plans to hire a second HR professional to the team who will focus heavily on compensation management, systems, and HR data/reporting. This role will concentrate on recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, DEI initiatives, positive employee relations, HR operations, benefits administration, and performance management. The VP of HR recently joined the firm and needs a very strong #2 on their team to be the first point of contact for all HR matters, with the ability to handle complex matters independently, as well as support and drive various processes and projects.
While the business is small in overall employees, the business leadership has high expectations around turnaround and quality of standards. The ability to work at a fast pace and to shift on a dime is critical for success in this role. Our client is seeking 8+ years of progressive HR business partnering experience ideally in a boutique, growth-oriented financial services environment where one would have had exposure to all aspects of HR. Our client has a hybrid working model and would expect 3 days of working onsite each week in any one of their New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Dallas, TX, Scottsdale, AZ, Chicago, IL, or Greenwich, CT locations.
The business has a strong appetite for HR as a strategic business partner and actively seeks out the HR team for advice and guidance on many matters. This role will have high visibility to all levels of the business, as well as an opportunity to shape the HR infrastructure in the company of a highly energized HR team.
