About the Company
An exciting retail group going through growth and expansion. We have met them and have been impressed. This position is accountable for supporting the HR Manager - taking care of both the operations (including running payroll in-house) and strategic business partnering.
You should be an all-rounder with at least 3-6 years of experience in HR. You should be happy to straddle the broad spectrum of HR, from operational responsibilities such as generating contracts to recruitment to business partnering duties such as employee relations and streamlining HR policies.
Given this is retail, it is a fast-paced business where the direction of travel will change, and you will need to keep up with the pace. You will get to own this role and make it your own.
The Successful Applicant
This will be 'hands on', there will be operational aspects to manage and everything in-between. This role wouldn't be right for someone wanting a firm job spec, a firmed-up role and need to be told what to do. Self-starter, fun and can-do attitude is required at all times!
You: Will be high energy, engaging, an ambassador of the brand, an ambassador for employees. You will come with solutions - not problems and will enjoy providing an engaging, dynamic and proactive HR service.
Essential: Regional exposure, and experience running payroll in-house.
Desirable: Retail/Sales, or commercial sector background. E-commerce experience.
