Reporting to the HR Director, you will strategically support the Supply Chain Director and senior leadership team to drive and execute the people agenda and provide business guidance. This will include workforce planning, organisation design/target operating models, talent & leadership development, employee engagement and performance, and you will also lead on significant people related change and transformation programmes. You will work closely with the COE and Shared Services to ensure efficient operational delivery.
You will have existing HR Business Partnering experience, driving the People Agenda and partnering strategically with a senior leadership team. You will be able to evidence having led and delivered on change and transformation programmes within a large, complex and matrixed organisation, likely to be within FMCG, supply chain/distribution/logistics, manufacturing or engineering. Experience of TUPE and working within a Trade Union environment would be advantageous.
While the business operates UK wide from a number of depots and sites, there will be very little travel involved and you will only need to be in Birmingham 1-2 days/week. The focus is very much around strategic alignment to the leadership team with operational activity being delivered by the COE and Shared Services, and therefore you must be a highly effective communicator, data led and able to challenge, negotiate and influence at senior levels.
