This position provides a brilliant opportunity for someone to lead the L&D agenda and the design and delivery of robust and comprehensive programmes across talent development, learning and training, and to promote a culture of engagement, high performance and innovation.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer and a growing team of five, this position works closely with the Executive team, Senior Leadership and the HR Business Partner community to identify and understand needs and to develop solutions and frameworks that target key leadership skills, capability areas and training needs. There is a strong focus on driving behaviour and leadership and therefore around driving cultural change within the company as well as building a business for the future.
The position requires experience of developing and deploying leadership, learning and talent programmes and preferably within a large, complex and diverse environment. There is also a big emphasis on technical training and adhering to strong regulatory guidelines that also ensure the safety and wellbeing of its employees. The company itself is multisite and engineering led with a diverse workforce, experience of working within a similar and regulated environment would be desirable.
You will have worked at Senior Manager or Head level with experience of managing and leading an L&D team. You will be able to work very collaboratively and be an excellent communicator and builder of relationships at senior levels. You will be expected to contribute to the wider People Agenda as an experienced HR Leader.
