This role is to deliver the businesses HSEQ Plan and work with CPO and Head of People to develop future plans. You will work with ELT and SLT members to ensure that their business needs are met, provide counsel on all safety matters and create strong relationships with operations to ensure that HSEQ is delivered effectively, and the business meets it's compliance requirements in HSEQ and that accreditations are achieved.

About You

With an extensive background in WHS&E as well as broader corporate risk management exposure, you will be used to working as part of a collaborative team environment, in both a site-based and corporate environment.

With relevant experience gained in a large, diverse, complex business within waarehousing & distribution or related industries you will have the ability to engage with all levels of the business utilising your exceptional communication and influencing skills.

With a collaborative and practical, down to earth approach and the ability to work proactively and autonomously you will have excellent stakeholder management skills and will be able to build effective relationships at senior levels within both a site and corporate environment. In addition, you must be able and willing to travel when required to visits sites. You will also have:

  • Professional Qualifications
  • Exposure and understanding of harmonised WHS legislation
  • Strong understanding of NSW/ACT WHS&E legislation
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems and process
