This is a hugely exciting opportunity with a really progressive and forward thinking business that is looking for a Head of HR Shared Services on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for leading and managing a large HR Operations team that operates and supports a UK headcount.
Reporting to the HR Director, this is a key position that sits on the HR leadership team and is responsible for ensuring HR service excellence across the UK. Leading a team of c.20, the HR Operations team has a broad scope across all generalist HR queries and administration, reward and benefits, payroll and people analytics. While you will focus on continuing to improve service excellence to internal teams, there is a change and transformation agenda that will require the function to be stabilised and to centralise HR Operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience of heading up an HR Shared Services/HR Operations team within the UK, with an understanding of HR operations, reward, benefits and payroll. Experience of SAP would also be an advantage. You will be able to clearly evidence strong direct management and senior stakeholder management, and demonstrate experience of delivering large change and transformation programmes. You need to be very passionate around delighting customers and be very strong with HR processes.
While sector alignment isn't particularly relevant, ideally your experience will have been gained within a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment and you are happy working with a level of ambiguity. This position can be based out of several locations albeit likely to be along the M4 corridor or the South of England more generally.
