My client is innovative and passionate about transforming the lives of children through education. They are looking to recruit Head of HR Operations to join their HR team.
As Head of HR Operations your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving the HR operations platform ensuring it aligns with all central services across the organisation. You will also manage and oversee the organisations pay review focuses. You will be responsible for the central HR system and the integration to the wider school network, using MI and data reporting to identify improvements to the HR operations process. You will have the full remit of HR ops including oversight of payroll, pensions and benefits administration. Due to the nature of the organisation you will have experience working with compliance and safeguarding processes and excellent systems knowledge.
Within this role you will have 5 direct reports supporting the smooth running of the employee lifecycle, people related MI and management of HR systems and administration. You will have lead on a full pay review, note that in the education field you will work to banding therefore complex pay review experience is not necessary however you will have supported payroll and comp and benefits integration within your team. You will have experience running full HR processes in order to offer an efficient and effective HR Service to the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar sized business of 2000- 3000 headcount in a senior HR position. A commercially minded senior HR professional from an excellent generalist or operational background is essential however you do not need to have worked in the education sector. This organisation is run with a strong business mindset with investments in growth so you will be able to demonstrate your experience creating and delivering a best in class HR Operations department. You will have excellent organisational and analytical skills with a in depth understating of systems and HR Analytics. As part of the senior leadership team you will have developed and coached your team to create a high performance culture whilst enabling them to be the best they can be. Salary: £80k-85k plus flexible working.
