We're delighted to be working with an international financial services group on an exciting Executive Director level, Head of HR role supporting Global Markets and Investment Banking across EMEA. The role will sit in London, but as part of the global HR leadership team for GM & IB and will work closely with Senior Management across the EMEA region to provide first class HR guidance and support.
You will report into the Global Head of HR (also sits in London) which allows a huge amount of genuine autonomy, and the ability to influence and devise the People Agenda across EMEA as well as partnering with key stakeholders. The role will manage a team of 5 directly and work closely with peers in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Talent and Diversity is high on the agenda for the HR function and this role will manage various projects/initiatives such as a Succession Planning Review, the Women in Finance Charter, Business transformation and overseeing year-end compensation round. You would be required to ad-hoc support on complex employee relations cases, senior hires and provide HR leadership on broader issues such as Culture and Conduct.
The business would like to see individuals with proven HR leadership skills within financial services and the ability to build strong relationships with Senior Management is essential. Given the complexities of the role and global presence, some international experience is ideal and you will need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working with HR leaders across the regions. Experience of dealing with Front Office Investment Banking clients would also be a huge advantage.
