I am currently working on a Head of HR role for an iconic retail business, which has a world famous destination store in the heart of Central London.
My client is looking for an experienced HR professional who is already at HR Manager level, working within a generalist capacity, looking to take their career to the next level.
As Head of HR you will naturally lead on all HR strategies covering generalist remits such as employee engagement, recruitment, policies and procedures.
In addition to this, you will also be fully accountable for the wider rewards and benefits including an oversight of payroll.
You will be the first point of call at a Senior HR level, leading and supporting a dynamic team of 3, so you must have UK employment law experience as well as CIPD or degree level equivalent.
This role would suit someone who is used to working within a fast-paced environment, an experienced leader who is able to fully understand the needs of their business and client group. This rare yet exciting opportunity, would really benefit from someone who has worked within a multi-site retail, FMCG or an entertainment retail business.
You will be partnering with the Senior Leadership team to create and implement a people strategy to really incorporate all elements of HR including recruitment, L&D, employee wellbeing, D&I and employee relations. You will also have accountability of the HR and L&D budget for the business.
In addition to the above, you will create a performance management strategy to continue the development and successes of the workforce equally to manage performance effectively with continued support and guidance to senior stakeholders.
This role has masses of opportunity for someone with gravitas, who is really looking to take their HR career to the next level in terms of strategising and management change.
As this is a business with an international reach, my client really wants to see strong HR Generalists who are able to demonstrate their ability to build relationships with Senior Stakeholders globally, including the CEO who is based out of the UK.
The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
