A Global Compensation Director is now being sought by a world-famous professional services business to support one of their technology business lines and head up a Centre of Excellence. This deeply rewarding role will see you drive the strategy and execution of compensation across this globally distributed group, ensuring the strategy supports the competitive positioning of the business and defines the overall approach within the global frameworks. Compensation topics within this business line are some of the most urgent within the group, carrying high priorities as merger and acquisition opportunities continue to present themselves in this highly dynamic sector. Key duties for this role will be to help shape the overall Comp strategy; ensuring executive compensation structures are appropriate to drive and recognise performance, partner with leadership teams and HR to design comp structures, models and philosophy aligned with the economics and talent profile for the technology business and develop and maintain effective business partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor in strategic and tactical approaches for all Compensation areas. As a result, the firm is looking to meet senior reward professionals with substantial experience in corporate and/or consulting, ideally with exposure to the tech/digital sector, showing progression and leadership. Essential is the ability to create compensation models for technology staff that are market competitive and internally consistent and can partner with global leadership teams and HR on planning, designing, communicating and operationalising market competitive total rewards packages, providing strategic advice on all compensation issues, including market trends, comp structure, comp assessment in new businesses, benchmarking and individual role pricing. This business is on a tremendous journey, rapidly scaling through acquisition and organic growth and this role represents a unique opportunity for someone in reward consulting to really showcase the breadth and depth of their advisory skills, or someone already in the in-house technology space to scale up their remit. In addition to the above salary there is a substantial annual bonus (c50%)
